PURPOSE: A method and system for an enhanced alphabet soup game is provided to enable a gamer to obtain an interest and a feeling of accomplishment by registering and storing new word in a word storage or a database of a terminal in the case that the gamer expresses new word which is not registered and stored in a database of an on-line game server. CONSTITUTION: If a gamer who uses a game terminal expresses an alphabet soup word corresponded to a word expressed by a game terminal, the terminal checks whether the word expressed by the gamer is registered in a word storage(S10,S20). If the word expressed by the gamer is not registered in word storage, the terminal asks the gamer a question whether the gamer wishes to registers and stores the word in the word storage(S30). If the gamer wishes to registers and stores the word in the word storage, the terminal registers and stores the word in the word storage(S32). At this time, the gamer inputs contents related to the word and the terminal stores the contents by being linked with the word(S34).
