PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress internal temperature rise of a lighting circuit part 8 in a headlight 1 for vehicles using an electric discharge lamp, by suppressing thermal connection of the lighting circuit part 8 and a shade 5 fixed to a reflector 3. SOLUTION: While attaching the lighting control circuit 8 in the back of the reflector 3 through a holder 6, it is connected directly to an electric discharge-lamp valve 4, and an attachment face 3b for fixing the shade 5 and an attachment face 3c for fixing the holder 6 are provided with spacing in both directions of the axis direction and the diameter direction of the reflector 3. Thereby, the shade 5 and the holder 6 are fixed to the reflector 3 by separating each other. By this, the thermal connection between the shade 5 and the holder 6 can be suppressed, in other words, heat resistance can be enlarged. Then, heat transfer in the lighting control circuit 8 can be suppressed, and the internal temperature rise of the lighting control circuit 8 can be suppressed. Therefore, the heat load, which acts on the circuit element in the lighting control circuit 8, can be reduced. |
