<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot managing system, and a vehicle terminal device for the parking lot managing system capable of securely detecting a start and end of parking of a vehicle, and securely detecting a theft of the vehicle from a parking lot and fraudulent release of a detecting means. SOLUTION: An on-road communication means 36 transmits individual identification information of a vehicle user with an on-vehicle communication means 35 by radio, and detects whether a parked vehicle is in a parking area or not and the individual identification information of the vehicle. A center control means 34 receives information detected by a plurality of on-road communication means 36, and controls the parking lot. The start and end of the parking of the vehicle is detected by attachment and removal of an ID card to and from the on-vehicle communication means 35. When periodical communication between the on-vehicle communication means 35 and the on-road communication means 36 is interrupted in a state that an identification information recording medium is not attached or a state that an invalid ID card is attached, the theft of the vehicle is detected.</p> |
