PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee a buyer or seller loss when a transaction contract is defaulted in an electric commerce system in which an intermediary computer intermediates transaction contents between a buyer computer and a seller computer. SOLUTION: The intermediary computer 2 receives the transaction contents 11 and buyer insurance contents 12 from the buyer computer 1, calculates commission corresponding to the loss amount of an insurance object of the buyer insurance contents 12 and stores the commission in intermediary results 5. The intermediary computer 2 also transmits the transaction contents 11 to the seller computer 3. Then, the intermediary computer 2 receives seller insurance contents 35 from the seller computer 3, calculates commission corresponding to the loss amount of the seller insurance contents 35 and stores the commission in a corresponding record of the intermediary results 5. |
