<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device that uniformly reproduces, onto a transfer material, an image in which the entire image surface is smooth and high gloss free of image density dependence is imparted, and that prevents wasteful consumption of transparent toner. SOLUTION: The color image forming device has a semiconductive intermediate transfer body onto which color toner images of different colors formed of insulating toners are transferred onto after another from the surface of at least one image carrier, a first transfer means that transfer the color toner images formed on the image carrier onto the intermediate transfer body, an electrifying means that electrifiers the insulating color toner images formed on the intermediate transfer body, a transparent toner developing means that is situated opposite the intermediate transfer body and develops the transparent toner, a second transfer means that transfers the color toner image and the transparent toner image formed on the intermediate transfer body onto a transfer material, and a fixing means that fixes the color toner image and transparent toner image formed on the transfer material.</p> |
