PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce more torque ripple components having a brushless motor having a stator provided with slots. SOLUTION: The brushless electric motor 36 is provided. In an embodiment as an example, the motor 36 comprises a permanent magnet rotor 60 having a plurality of magnetic poles and a stator 66, a plurality of laminated laminations 68 in which a plurality of slots 70 are arranged, and a plurality of fractional-pitch phase windings 72 arranged in a plurality of the slots 70. The motor 36 has the number ratio of slots per pole which is not integer. Amplitudes of the 5-th and 7-th harmonic components of the fundamental frequency of the motor becomes smaller than 0.3% and 0.1%, respectively, of the magnitude of the fundamental frequency component. |
