PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility and to take a wide display area for a display image with respect to display of a color scale bar. SOLUTION: With respect to the color scale bar which represents a color bar showing the color tone of a color display image with color display and a scale showing the stage of this color display, the scale is displayed over the color bar, and colors in both ends of color display represented by the color bar are used as display colors showing the scale, and the scale is displayed in colors of opposite end parts of color display of the color bar.
