MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium high in interchangeability which keeps constant playback characteristics between magneto optical disk devices having different light source wavelengths. SOLUTION: The magneto-optical recording medium is obtained by successively stacking, on a substrate, at least a first dielectric layer 2 having a larger refractive index than the substrate, a second dielectric layer 3 having a larger refractive index than the first dielectric layer and a magneto-optical recording layer 4. Thereby, the recording medium having constant reflectance can be realized in a wide wavelength range.
