<p>The invention concerns a method for automatic reading of documents comprising a step which consists in reading an image of said document (210). Said method also comprises a step which consists in identifying the content of the document (220), during which fields of the document are identified. Said method further comprises a validation step (240) which consists in assigning at least a meaning to a read symbol, in accordance with logical rules observed by said document.
