AMPLIFIER USING CARBON NANO TUBE

PURPOSE: An amplifier using a carbon nano tube is provided to form a low voltage field emission device and amplify a radio frequency by using a field effect of the carbon nano tube. CONSTITUTION: A cathode of an amplifier is formed on a bottom portion. A gate or a grid is formed on an upper portion of the cathode of the amplifier. An anode is formed on an upper portion of the gate or the grid. A carbon nano tube is used as the cathode. A nonconductor layer is formed between the cathode and the gate. The gate is deposited on an upper portion of the nonconductor layer. A gap between the cathode and the gate is about 1.5 micro meter. A predetermined pattern is formed by performing a photo-lithography process. An RF short circuit is formed by installing a capacitor to a gate power supply terminal and a ground part. An insulator is located between a collector and the anode.
