PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide circuit breaker having improved assembly and for reducing the need of readjustment for leveling tripping characteristics. SOLUTION: Cntacts 2A and 3A, and 2B and 3B, a switching mechanism 5 having a locked part 4a storing force in a contact opening direction and providing a locked state during contact closure and forcibly opening the contacts, when the locked state is released, and an electromagnet device 48 with a moving core 58 formed by hammering out a lock part 60 for locking the locked part from a rear face side and a fixed core 57 facing the moving core arranged in a form surrounding a bimetal 46 are arranged in an apparatus body 1.
