PURPOSE: An animal cell culturing pipe and an animal cell mass-culturing device are provided, thereby oxygen can be directly supplied to the animal cells, and supply and harvest of an animal cell growth medium can be automatically carried out, so that the animal cells can be cultured for a longer time. CONSTITUTION: The both end-closed animal cell culturing pipe comprises two small holes in the bottom of its both ends, wherein the animal cell culturing pipe has a shape selected from a circle, an ellipse and a polygon; the length of the animal cell culturing pipe is 10 to 300 mm and the diameter of the animal cell culturing pipe is 5 to 110 mm; and the size of the hole occupies 1 to 70% of the area of one end side of the animal cell culturing pipe. The animal cell mass-culturing device(10) comprises the animal cell culturing pipe, a bundle containing numerous animal cell culturing pipes(13) which fills up a circular housing(12) of the device where holes is faced down of the housing(12) around the axis of the housing(12); an animal cell culturing device(10) containing a plurality of the animal cell culturing pipe bundles; an air inlet(21) and an air outlet(22); a level controller(20) which maintains the height of a culturing medium; a medium inlet(52); a sensor(40) which measures pH and dissolved oxygen sensor in the medium; and a medium outlet(62). |
