PURPOSE: A device for pumping oil for hermetic compressor is provided to supply oil more smoothly for heat radiation and lubrication of the driving compressor. CONSTITUTION: A device includes an oil supply piece(40) installed to a crank shaft to be connected with an oil passage(32) formed in the crank shaft and to rotate integrally and having a spiral passage(42) formed on an outside thereof so that oil is drawn up with viscous force and is transmitted to the oil passage; a sleeve(50) having a penetrating hole(52) formed therein for the oil supply piece to be placed therein and forming fixed gap with a peripheral surface of the oil supply piece; and a spring bracket(60) including a supporting spring wound around an outside of the sleeve and joined to support so that the sleeve is placed to maintain the gap while not rotating with regard to the oil supply piece.
