PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio device and a control method for the same, with which trouble does not occur in the use of the mobile radio device even when the cancel of transmitting operation inhibition setting of a radio part is forgotten. SOLUTION: In the environment, with which a transmitted radio wave affects other electronic equipment, the transmitting operation of the radio part is inhibited (steps 21 and 22). Afterwards, report information indicating location where a base station exists is received from the base station and stored in a storage device part (steps 23 and 24). When this report information is not changed beyond a fixed time, it is determined that the mobile radio device is not moved on the train or airplane (steps 25-27) and at such timing, radio part control setting is canceled (step 28). Thus, even when it is forgotten to set effective radio part control during moving on the train or airplane, by knowing that the radio device is not moved for a certain fixed time, that radio part control setting is automatically canceled. |
