PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for fusing preventing breakage of the terminal and reducing a material cost, and to provide the connection method for the terminal for fusing. SOLUTION: The breakage of the terminal 20 is prevented, even if the thickness is small, since a fusing connection part 22a directly generates heat, through suppression of the heat generation in a U-shaped part 22 by adopting a tip current sharing type, in which a projecting part 23a of a recessed and projecting part 23 are brought into contact with a terminal body 21 in a first current carrying process, and a shunt current is produced in currying current in a second current carrying process. By directly generating heat in the fusing connection part 22a, a lead wire 10 and the terminal 20 are press-bonded, without having to enhance the dimensional accuracy in calking of the U-shaped part 22, the control of working accuracy is facilitated and a manufacturing cost can be reduced. By making the thickness of the terminal body 21 small, the material cost of the terminal 20 is reduced and the bending work of the terminal body 21 is facilitated.
