PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an output resistance on purely electronic basis, without accompanying physical contact, and to manufacturing a variable resistance circuit within an integrated circuit. SOLUTION: The variable resistance circuit comprises a voltage to current converter 3 for converting a voltage signal inputted to an input terminal 21 to a current for outputting, and a current attenuator 40 for attenuating the output current in the voltage to current converter 30 at an attenuation ratio, according to a control signal inputted to a control terminal 25 and for outputting the attenuated current to the input terminal 21.
