PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone number guide service system that utilizes use of a callback function so as to enhance the operation convenience for users using a telephone number guide service. SOLUTION: A reception center 130 receives a user application of the telephone number guide service from a user using a phone 110 connected to a public network 120, a DSA(Dial Service Assistant) 102 retrieves a telephone directory database 140 to which customer information is registered based on the reception information and the retrieved telephone number as a calling number is dialed from a test terminal 106 to the phone 110 to inform the phone 110 of the user about the telephone number.
