PURPOSE: A covering apparatus for baggage of a hatch-back vehicle is provided to improve the external appearance of the hatch-back vehicle by preventing a covering screen from downwardly drooping. CONSTITUTION: A covering apparatus includes a cover(3) made of flexible material. The cover(3) covers a vehicle such that an interior of a trunk of the vehicle is not exposed to an exterior. A retractor(1) is fixed between a rear portion of a rear sheet panel and a front portion of the trunk widthwise of the vehicle. A front edge of the cover(3) is fixed to the retractor(1) so that the cover(3) is wound by the retractor(1). A cover withdrawing member(2) is arranged in opposition to the retractor(1). The cover withdrawing member(2) has a fixing protrusion. A fixing slot is formed at a rear portion of the trunk. A plurality of supporting members is fixed to a peripheral portion of the cover(3).
