PURPOSE: An intake hose adjusting apparatus of a vacuum cleaner is provided to contain compactly a long intake hose into a storage device by installing first and second supporting holders inside the intake hose. CONSTITUTION: An intake hose adjusting apparatus comprises a flexible intake hose capable of extending and contracting, a first support holder(31) and a second support holder(32) fixed at the intake hose, an inserting guide portion(33) extended from the first support holder, and an inserting portion(34) extended from the second support holder. The inserting guide portion is composed of a guide formed inside the intake hose and a plurality of fixing recess. The inserting portion moves along the guide of the inserting guide portion, and includes a hook(36) inserted and fixed at the fixing recess.
