PURPOSE: A method for preventing reproduction of floppy diskettes is provided to form bad sectors at a disk and encode information in regard to a floppy diskette so that the disk is to be used only by software recognizing the bad sectors, thereby preventing programs stored at the disk from being reproduced. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing reproduction of floppy diskettes includes the steps of forming one or more bad sectors in a disk sector placed in a floppy diskette(S301), storing one or more programs at the disk(S303), encoding the sector of the disk corresponding to the position of the bad sector and storing the encoded sector(S305), storing the encoded data of the disk at a software recognizing the bad sector of the floppy diskette having formed the bad sector(S307), completing manufacture of the floppy diskette(S309), setting up encoding information in regard to bad sector, system, hard disk at the software recognizing the bad sector(S311).
