PURPOSE: A lead wire fixing structure for a washing machine is provided to reduce defects and achieve improved work efficiency by fixing, in a convenient and stable manner, the lead wire connected to the driving motor and drain valve of a washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A lead wire(32) is arranged at the lower portion of an outer tub(6) of a washing machine, and a pair of pins(142a,142b) are protruded from the outer bottom surface of the outer tub so as to fix the lead wire. Pins are injection molded integrally with the outer tub, or produced separately and welded to the outer bottom surface of the outer tub. Each pin having the same size is shaped into a cylinder, and spaced apart from each other so as to allow the lead wire to be inserted between them. When the lead wire is inserted between two pins, ends of pins are bent toward each other, deviating from the direction of the lead wire, to thereby form bent portions(144a,144b) which are overlapped with each other.
