PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the operation of an in-circuit emulator by optically giving and receiving a signal between internal components. SOLUTION: A control module substrate 32 comprises electronic circuit blocks such as a CPU 320, an emulator controlling part 322, a breakpoint controlling part 324, an input-output(IO) controlling part 326, a trace memory 328 and a program memory 330. The electronic circuit blocks respectively internally perform electrical processing and give and receive a signal necessary for emulation processing with a different component through an optical bus system 4 when necessary.
