发明名称 POSITIVE ELECTRODE PLATE FOR LEAD STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode plate for a lead storage battery excellent in discharge characteristics and life characteristics which improves utilization rate of an active material and prevents degradation of life of a positive electrode plate. SOLUTION: The positive electrode plate for a lead storage battery which utilizes paste kneaded with lead powder containing minium, water, and diluted sulfuric acid as main ingredients as well as utilizes lead alloy containing tin by not less than 1.2 weight percent for a positive electrode frame body. The above minium is contained in the above lead powder by 5 to 28 weight percent, and active material porosity after chemical treatment is not less than 60%. In addition, lead powder is a mixture of metal lead as a material for a positive electrode active material paste and a lead compound such as lead oxide. Because of its porosity of not less than 60%, the positive electrode active material is excellent in discharge performance and has excellent life performance since the positive electrode frame body contains tin and the lead powder contains minium.
