<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data relay device and a method of relaying data, which enable efficient transmission of an IP frame addressed to a mobile terminal, in a network supporting the mobile terminal which conducts network communication which accompanies movement. SOLUTION: A connection attribute determining section 4 of a mobility router 501 determines, whether an IP frame received by a data receiving section 1 belongs to a connection activated by the mobile terminal or to a connection activated by an ordinary terminal. When it is determined by the connection attribute determining section 4 that the IP frame belongs to the connection activated by the mobile terminal, a relay process control section 5 deletes Home Address option from the IP frame transmitted from the mobile terminal to the normal terminal, and then adds Source Route option to the IP frame transmitted from the ordinary terminal to the mobile terminal, and then the IP frame is transmitted either to the ordinary terminal or the mobile terminal by means of a data-transmitting section 3.</p> |
