<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently correct errors. SOLUTION: The digital signal reproducing device reads recorded data from a recording medium recorded with the recorded data added with a CRCC with an arbitrary data column as a unit together with a Reed-Solomon code. Digital converting means 5 of the digital signal reproducing device inputs the regenerative signal reproduced from the recording medium and forms the digital regenerative signal. Binary discriminating means 6 forms a binary discrimination signal in accordance with the digital regenerative signal. Error correcting means 7 corrects the error of the binary discrimination signal by using the Reed-Solomon code, forms a pseudo regenerative signal in accordance with the binary discrimination signal, selects a candidate of a high probability of the error in the binary discrimination signal by comparing the pseudo regenerative signal and the digital regenerative signal, corrects the candidate of the high probability of the error, verifies the same by the CRCC and selects the correct correction.</p> |
