The invention relates to a rail vehicle comprising a pneumatically suspended waggon body (18), bogies (20) supporting said body (18), especially pneumatically suspended bogies without a bogie bolster, wherein waggon body (18) rests and swings out on a pneumatic spring (14), and guiding and damping devices (10,12) fitted between waggon body (18) and bogies (20). Damping devices are used to stabilize bogies (20) at running speeds v >100 km/hr and to attenuate hunting. A friction plate is provided as a guiding and damping device (10). Said plate is subjected to internal air pressure of pneumatic spring(14) on undercarriage (16) of wagon body (18). Friction plate (12) is hinged on centre of a safety spring (26) or at the base of pneumatic spring (14) and is longitudinally connected to bogie (20) and attenuates hunting thereof (20). |
