PURPOSE: A method and device for supplying music data to a home singing room device through a network is provided to enable a user to watch various moving pictures during a music selection and enable an advertiser to overcome a limit of a conventional banner advertisement by transmitting advertisement moving picture data at a time for supplying a music list capable of being used to the user. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a music supply server through a network using a set-top box(310). The music supply server transmits a music list composed of a singer, a ranking, etc. to the set-top box, and makes the user select a wanted music(320). Simultaneously, the music supply server transmits advertisement moving picture data with the music list, and makes the advertisement moving picture be displayed on a user TV during a music selection. While the advertisement moving picture is displayed, the user selects a wanted music out of the music list and transmits the music to the music supply server(330). The music supply server receives a selection command of the user and transmits music data including music playing data and text data of the corresponding music and background moving picture data to the user(340). The music supply server calculates selection command statistics data of the user and stores the data for creating other profit(350).
