PURPOSE: The use of IgE-dependent histamine-releasing factor(HRF) as a neurotransmitter release inducing agent or a neurotransmitter release inhibitor is provided. Therefore, the peptide can be effectively used as an agent for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of an apoptosis-related neurological disease such as cerebral apoplexy, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's disease, etc.. CONSTITUTION: The neurotransmitter release inducing agent contains HRF and hexane coating the same as an effective component, and the neurotransmitter release inhibitor contains an HRF bonded peptide containing an amino acid sequence represented by the formula:(A, L or W)-X-X-X-X-(A, L, S or W)-(A, P or M) as an effective component in which X represents optional amino acid.
