PURPOSE: A brake band fixing structure for a washing machine is provided to remove the complicated work for forming a hole in a drum case to insert a folded part of a brake band by forming a groove part instead of the hole, thereby preventing the decrease of the strength of the drum case. CONSTITUTION: A brake band fixing structure for a washing machine includes a brake band(90) formed with a vertically folded part(94) folded at an end part fixed to a drum case by a bolt, and the drum case(30) formed with a supporting groove part(98) to be fitted by the folded part, wherein the supporting groove part is protruded inwardly more than an inner surface of the drum case. |
