The invention relates to a combustion process and to an isobar engine with cross cycles, employed in the machine building industry for propelling motor vehicles, marine vessels, aircrafts, power plants, etc. The claimed motor is provided with a cylinder head (11) having several chambers (12, 13, 14 and 15) plated with a thermal shield (b), some vortex generators (25, 26, 27 and 28) connected to some one-way valves (29, 30, 31 and 32) and some spark plugs (20, 21, 22 and 23) connected to the distributor (24) being mounted to said cylinder head (11).
