PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer arbitrary data whose transfer is not permitted in a partial transport stream if necessary when transferring the stream of MPEG2(moving picture experts group 2) to another equipment through an interface. SOLUTION: When a transport stream is transferred between individual equipment interconnected through the interface, in the case that arbitrary data not permitted to be transmitted in the partial transport stream between the individual equipment through the interface like EIT(event information table) and SDT(service description table), information on the section is transmitted as a private section or a user private section. Thus, information on the section of EIT is transmitted to the personal computer from a digital satellite broadcast tuner and an original program list can be generated by the personal computer.
