PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically change the ranking on the menu of contents in a server in accordance with prescribed conditions. SOLUTION: Corresponding to requests from client terminals 131, 133 and 135, a gateway server 101 distributes the contents of a plurality of contents providers (CP) 121. In that case, an access log from each of client terminals corresponding to each of contents distributed through the server 101 is acquired and, on the basis of this access log, the frequency of access to each of contents is calculated. Corresponding to this access frequency, the menu page of contents, to which ranking is applied, is dynamically generated and displayed on the client terminal. With respect to publication charges collected from the providing sources of contents in relation to the publication of the relevant contents on the menu page, the charges of a prescribed amount may be returned in accordance with the rank of the contents. |
