PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an author authentication system and method that can authenticate an author, without lowering the quality of provided data. SOLUTION: An authentication parameter calculating section 1 calculates authentication parameters for expressing, the feature of an author image from the author image and a signature image. A signature image generating section 2 generates the signature image, on the basis of the authentication parameter and an image by which the author is claimed. A signature image collating section 3 collates the signature image generated by the signature image generating section 2, with the signature image used when the authentication parameter is calculated and the author is authenticated, when they are identical. |
