PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence read-aloud device capable of correct read-aloud just like the read of KANA (Japanese syllabary) alongside Chinese characters without repetition even in the case that it does not match with the read of a word dictionary for all the KANA alongside the Chinese characters in a sentence. SOLUTION: This sentence read-aloud device analyzing and reading aloud an inputted sentence is provided with a detection means detecting the KANA alongside the Chinese characters and the last character of a character string to which the KANA alongside the Chinese characters is imparted from the inputted sentence, a retrieval means retrieving the first character of the character string arranged in front of the last character, a replacing means replacing the character string from the first character retrieved by the retrieval means to the last character with the KANA alongside the Chinese characters and a read-aloud control means voice-synthesizing and outputting the sentence after the replacement by the replacing means.
