PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power circuit and a motor controller therewith capable of facilitating explosion-protection and retention in common even if the lengths of electrolytic capacitors positioned traversely are different from each other, and reducing the profile. SOLUTION: This power circuit includes the electrolytic capacitors 1 for filtering power supply for drawing out a lead terminal 1b in the same direction, and a capacitor retaining device 2 for covering an explosion-proofing valve section 1a on the opposite side to an lead terminal 1b of the electrolytic capacitor 1. The electrolytic capacitor 1 is retained by soldering horizontally on a printed circuit board 3 or with a capacitor retainer 2.
