<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a node device, and its control method, in which power saving is realized by applying two stage power supply method effectively. SOLUTION: The node device comprises a section for controlling a node entirely, an RJ45 connector having a switch being turned on/off depending on insertion/draw-out of a UTP table, a physical layer device, a switch device for delivering a packet received from the physical layer device to a physical layer device corresponding to an address inserted into a specified position of that packet, a first power supply plane for supplying power to the physical layer device, a second power supply plane for supplying power to the control section and the switch device, a power supply section, a first relay section for supplying power from the power supply section to the first power supply plane, and a second relay section for supplying power from the power supply section to the second power supply plane.</p> |
