PURPOSE: A spinning-reel spool is provided to control fluctuations in drag force due to liquid seeping into the drag mechanism in a spool on the rear of which a drag mechanism is disposed. CONSTITUTION: The spinning-reel spool(4), adapted to be mounted on a spool shaft that is installed in a spinning-reel body so as to be shiftable in a front-rear direction, includes: a spool body(7) having a tubular bobbin-trunk portion(7a) that is rotatably mounted on the spool shaft, and front(7b) and rear(7c) flange portions that are diametrically larger than the bobbin trunk portion and are provided respectively on front and rear portions of the bobbin trunk portion(7a); a drag mechanism having a drag-handling unit(70) that is screwed onto a front end of the spool shaft so as to press the bobbin trunk portion, and a first friction unit(71) that is disposed so as to contact a rear face of the rear flange portion(7c), a rearward movement of the first friction unit being restricted by the spool shaft; a cover member(9) installed non-rotatably on the spool body(7) so as to cover a rear of the first friction unit; first sealing unit(61) fitted between the cover member and the spool body for sealing a gap therebetween; and second sealing unit(62) fitted between the spool shaft and the cover member for sealing a gap therebetween.
