PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte solution secondary battery with low inner resistance and excellent self discharge characteristics. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte solution secondary battery composed of a positive and a negative electrodes which can absorb and desorb lithium ion, and nonaqueous electrolyte solution generating hydrogen fluoride by reacting with water, is also provided with hydrogen fluoride decomposing agent. That is to say, hydrogen fluoride generated by the existence of water is converted into innoxious silicon tetrafluoride through reaction shown in formula (2) below. 3SiO2 +12HF→3SiF4 ↑+6H2 O...(2). The silicon tetrafluoride generated here is a gas at normal temperature, and is accumulated in the battery, but does not affect battery performance. |
