PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a defect of displaying device certainly correcting a pixel with a defective bright spot without influencing the display of a normal pixel and a display device of which the pixel with the defective bright spot is corrected and which has high display quality. SOLUTION: The display device with the repaired pixel has a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix and containing red, green and blue pixels and a light shielding layer formed so as to be superimposed on at least a defective pixel out of a plurality of the pixels and to selectively shield light with a color corresponding to the defective pixel. |
