PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmitting system, with which a message for sending photographer transmits information to a subject specified in a picture being taken and information can easily be transmitted among the photographer and optional members, such as a third party by means of photographing or appreciation of photos. SOLUTION: The information transmitting system includes a camera by which a message sending photographer allocates message information to a subject specified in a picture being taken and which has a capability of acquiring the information about the position of a shooting site and information about the shooting direction; a subject identifying unit which identifies the subject by deducing a geographical position of the subject, using the information about the shooting position and direction acquired by the camera and using the position of the subject in the image plane of the photographing; and a message information transmitting unit which transmits the message information to the subject or a specified object, including a third party.
