PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device in which dust or the like existing at a portion where a disk cartridge is loaded can be removed preferably and dust or the like can be prevented from sticking to disk media. SOLUTION: This device is provided with loading sections 150A, 150B provided with a bucket 140 in which a disk cartridge 10 having a shutter member is loaded through an opening 14 for accessing a disk medium on one side of a case storing the disk medium of a disk type, driving sections 160A, 160B provided with a driving system of a spindle shaft rotating the disk medium in the disk cartridge loaded in the bucket 140 and a head driving system performing recording or reproducing of information by accessing the disk medium, a sectioning means 158 sectioning the loading sections 150A, 150B and the diving system, a ventilation means, an exhaust means 146 exhausting air in the loading sections 150A, 150B, and the driving section to the outside, and a filter member 152 provided in the ventilation means 142 and the exhaust means 146.
