<p>The invention relates to a dosing installation for solid granular substances, particularly meant for dosing granular aluminum sulphate, which is a reagent used for treating drinking water in the industrial water treating stations or in the cellulose and paper industry. According to the invention, the installation comprises a double-worm dosimeter (A) driven by a frequency controlled electric motor (9) providing an adjustable speed to the dosimeter (A), a cylindrical-conical dissolving device (B) provided with a nipple (19) connected to a transport-injection pump, which upon a water supply of 1,5 ... 5 cube m/ h, generates a rate of climb of the dissolving fluid, so that the aluminum sulphate particles having a dimension of 0.5 ... 3 mm, brought by the dosimeter (A), do not leave the dissolving device (B) before they are completely dissolved.</p> |
