PURPOSE: A system for connecting a web page using a vernacular keyword name and a method thereof are provided to connect to a corresponding web page easily using a keyword name of one's vernacular without an additional word for displaying a character of a domain name and a nation. CONSTITUTION: A connection device(30) makes a client(10) be connected to a web page on the Internet(20). In addition, an English domain name server(40) for processing a conventional domain name server, that is, an English domain name is included. The connection device(30) makes the client(10) be connected to a corresponding web page on the Internet(20) using an English domain name and one's vernacular keyword name. The connection device(30) includes a keyword name database(31), a connection information database(32), a keyword name server(33), a web server(34), and a search engine(35). At least one keyword name corresponded to all IP addresses on the Internet(20) and URL information corresponded to each keyword name are stored in the keyword name database(31). Connection information of the client(10) who requested an IP address confirmation to the keyword name server(33) is stored in the connection information database(32).
