PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thermoelectric device which is superior in thermoelectric characteristics and moreover has little fluctuations in the thermoelectric characteristics. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a thermoelectric device, material powder which contains at least two elements from among Bi, Sb, Te, and Se or a molded body formed of material powder is baked into a sintered body, having a figure of merit of 3.0×10<-3> /K or above. The above material powder and/or the molded body is thermally treated in a hydrogen flow loaded with e powder and then baked. |
