PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaner-less image forming apparatus where a contact injection electrifying means 2 using conductive impalpable powder (m) is set as an electrifying means for an image carrier 1, and with which excellent image formation can be performed over a long term by dispersing load on the image carrier 1 generated at the time of starting and stopping the apparatus and restraining the partial deterioration of the image carrier 1. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is provided with a means 1a.S.100 for detecting the stopping position of the image carrier 1, and constituted so that the stopping position of the image carrier may be different from the last stopping position. |
