<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently carry out a conduit connection work in the vicinity of a buried manhole, when communication cable conduits are installed between the manholes. SOLUTION: A manhole joint both whose ends have approximately the same opening diameters is attached to one sidewall of a manhole, and an outer joint pipe to be connected with an outer conduit is inserted into the opening of the manhole joint. When inner conduits are connected with each other, the outer joint pipe is slid toward the inside of the manhole, while being inserted into the opening of the manhole joint to carry out a connection work with a wide space being provided in the vicinity of the inner conduit. Then, the outer joint pipe is slid toward the outside of the manhole, and the end of the outer joint pipe is connected with the outer conduit.</p> |
