<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional coupler, the degree of coupling of which will not fluctuate much due to manufacturing errors of a multilayered substrate and which has proper characteristics, even at a high frequency. SOLUTION: One end of a first one-side strip conductor 1a is connected to one end of a second one-side strip conductor 1b on the upside of the figure, and one end of a first other-side strip conductor 2a is connected to one end of a second other-side strip conductor 2b on the opposite side (underside of the figure). The unconnected other four ends of first and second coupling line sections 3a and 3b are respectively used as input/output terminals 10a, 10b, 10c, and 10d; the first other-side strip conductor 2a is shifted from the first one-side strip conductor 1a, in parallel with the conductor 1a in a first direction (on the left side in the figure) perpendicular to the lengthwise direction; and the second other-side strip conductor 2b is shifted from the second one-side strip conductor 1b, in parallel with the conductor 1b in the direction opposite to the first direction (on the right side in the figure).</p> |
