<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier rib correcting method for back plate, capable of providing the back plate having durability against use, when it is used in a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: In this method of correcting a defect part of a barrier rib of a substrate (back plate) for the plasma display panel provided with the barrier rib formed by patterning a barrier rib forming material and baking the same at a predetermined temperature, a barrier rib mending material is packed in the defect part of the barrier, and re-baked again. More specifically, a material having a softening point lower than that of the barrier rib forming material is used as the barrier rib mending material, and is re-baked.</p> |
