PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cast method and a multi-cast device which do not put a time series into disorder when cutting back a multi-cast cell to a uni-cast cell and can make a continuous copy to one output port. SOLUTION: In a switch having a routing function of outputting a packet to a desired output port based on destination information added to the packet, the structure has a space copy 120 for making a space copy by a switch routing function and a time copy 121 for making a time copy in each output port by receiving an output of the space copy 120.
