PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compound the picture of an object having a complicated curved surface with a two-dimensional background picture in a natural pattern state by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This pattern switching simulation system is provided with a picture inputting device 102 for inputting a background picture and a texture picture, an instruction inputting device 103 for designating an object in a background picture, and for instructing the curved surface of the designated object, a picture deforming part 105 for preparing curved surface data indicating the designated curved surface, and for preparing raw material pictures for composition by deforming a texture picture based on the prepared curved surface data, and a compounding part 108 for mapping the prepared raw material pictures for composition in the picture area of the object. |
